Due to my engagment for the department homepage I had the opportunity to design several homepages for faculty members (Prof. Ghisla, Prof. Ullrich) of the Department of Biology at the University of Konstanz. Here it was necessary to find the balance between an individual presentation of the faculty member and the integration of the homepage in the design concept of the departmental web site.

Since the number of pages for those individual web sites is smaller and due to the inherent problems with frames the pages were based on a frameless design using tables. Both homepages here feature similar designs that integrate smoothly and consistantly in the overall design of the departmental web site. Title bar and navigation bar are placed at the same location as well as the university logo. The colors are customized for each of the homepages giving it its individual look.
